I thought #3 was so interesting! I never thought about how other cultures have superstitions about different 13ths/other days.

I found that was interesting, too.

I've never found Friday 13th to be particularly unlucky. Or lucky. It's just another day...

Interesting facts! I met my husband on Friday, May 13, 2005. So for us, Friday the 13th is lucky. At least I hope he thinks so.

Because today's Friday the 13th, there will be a Friday the 13th in December. (Certain months mirror each other like February, March, and November in non leap years. April and July. January and October in non leap years.)

Friday the 13th has always been pretty lucky for me. Today I lucked into a student teacher. Easy day for me :)

When I was younger, I would look through the calendar to see how many Friday the 13th there were.

Friday the 13th is a lucky day in our family because it's when our youngest was born. She was a scheduled c-section, and when I was choosing my time, the 13th was wide open :-)

What an interesting collection of Friday the 13th info! When I lived in Italy, I was surprised to learn that 13 is a lucky number there. Nearly every drug store sells trinkets with 13 on them.

The reason 17 is an unlucky number in Italy is because the Roman numeral for 17 (XVII) can be rearranged to spell “vixi,” which translates to “I have lived” in Latin. To use that number is thought to somehow bring death closer to you. For this reason, some buildings in Italy will omit the 17th floor!
