The first Wednesday of every month is the Insecure Writer's Support Group. Posts go up the 1st Wednesday of every month. Check it out here and join if you need support with your writing. Don't forget to stop by and say hi to the co-hosts: Janet Alcorn, Pat Garcia, Natalie Aguirre, and Shannon Lawrence!
March 2 question - Have you ever been conflicted about writing a story or adding a scene to a story? How did you decide to write it or not? Once again, I'm skipping this month's question. I really don't have an answer outside of no, anyways. Instead, I want to say a big thank you to the Insecure Writer's Support Group community and the support and personal stories you shared about your own journeys with chronic illness, surgeries, and various other things that have caused strife and pain in your lives. It was especially heartening from those who, years after being pain free, told me that, yeah, they still fear it coming back. I had a sneaking suspicion that it was very normal to be afraid and the confirmation made me feel better. I can kick any fear down when it rises because you all have my back. This group really rocks, and I'm glad it's still going strong. I hope IWSG keeps going because we need it. Even if we talk about things that aren't quite related to writing, the support given is overwhelming. Thanks a bunch, Alex, for creating it. Thanks to everyone who helps keep it going. Thanks to everyone who posts on the first Wednesday of the month.

This group really is the best. I've found nothing but support from the members and I always learn from reading in the bloghop every month.

Yeah, this is a wonderful community. The entire internet is a wonderful thing. It connects so many of us: in different countries, even on different continents. My mom, who is 88, said recently: how did we live without internet? Frankly, I don't remember. But I like it better the way it is now.

I keep posting because I'm afraid I'll lose my spot on the list. Basically the same reason I play those crappy gatcha phone games. ;-)

We're all here for each other and whatever we're going through (not just writing). That's why it's a great community.

I love the IWSG! I don't think I'd have stuck with writing as long without it. And I'm glad you're with us!!
